Your new role
A leading global manufacturer of optical components seeks a driven Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) Manager to join the team. This role requires a strong background in manufacturing quality assurance with management experience. As a QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for leading the company's quality assurance approach and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
What you'll need to succeed
Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Management:
  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure ISO 9001 accreditation.
  • Develop and implement an Integrated Management System (IMS) to achieve ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.
  • Oversee product inspections and investigations to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the team.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment:
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop preventive measures.
  • Oversee the management of equipment maintenance schedules.
  • Provide training and guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters for the team.
  • Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in a Quality Assurance management role within a manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 implementation.
  • Engineering background or relevant qualifications.
  • Membership of a professional chartered body.
  • Experience in the optical manufacturing industry.
