This is an excellent opportunity for a strategically driven Commercial Director to join an award-winning software and AI business who are pioneering the way in the Automotive industry. On offer is a role where you will have full autonomy, working closely with the CEO to help lead the commercial direction of the business.

This company are renowned for their state-of-the-art technology and operate with many OEM's both in the UK and worldwide for their specialist products. As the business continues to grow, they are looking to onboard a new Commercial Director who will take leadership within the sales strategies to increase overall revenue.

In this varied role you will be responsible for developing and executing new sales strategies. This will include building and managing a sales pipeline, reporting on key metrics, and identifying new business opportunities within the automotive sector. You will also need to develop value-based pricing strategies and lead negotiations with customers to secure mutually beneficial agreements. In addition to these responsibilities, you will mentor and manage the Commercial team to deliver sales targets.

The ideal candidate will need a proven track record in a Leadership role, focusing on B2B technical sales and account/stakeholder management. Additionally, a financial understanding will aid in developing pricing and revenue models, and contract negotiation skills are also key requirements for this role. While a bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science is desirable, strong industry experience will also be considered. Equally, a background in the automotive or manufacturing industry would also be beneficial but is not essential.
