About the Role:
Our client, a reputable secondary school in the Rotherham area, is seeking a passionate and dedicated ICT Teacher to join their vibrant team. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young learners and contribute to the continued success of the school's ICT department.

We are looking for an experienced ICT Teacher who can deliver engaging and interactive lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, ensuring that they develop strong IT skills and a thorough understanding of the subject. The ideal candidate will be confident in using a range of teaching strategies to accommodate varying abilities and will have a real enthusiasm for the subject.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality ICT lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Supporting and monitoring student progress and adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs
  • Preparing students for exams and assessments
  • Contributing to the wider school community and participating in extracurricular activities
  • Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the ICT curriculum

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching ICT to secondary school students (KS3/KS4)
  • Strong knowledge of the ICT curriculum and exam board specifications
  • Excellent classroom management skills and a passion for teaching
  • DBS clearance or willingness to undergo a DBS check
  • Available to start as soon as possible
