In this exciting role, you'll have the opportunity to engage and support KS3 and KS4 students in their mathematical journey. Enjoy a competitive daily rate ranging from £155 to £230, depending on your qualifications, experience, and teaching abilities.

You will assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and create a supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays
  • Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience in children
  • Having control over the whole class and maintaining discipline
  • Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
  • Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
  • Set homework and mark promptly
  • Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
  • Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum
  • Punctual and reliable

  • Managing behaviour of pupils whilst undertaking work to ensure a constructive environment
  • Strong classroom management
  • Motivated and enthusiastic demeanour
  • Use imagination and innovation to enhance learning experience

Personal Attributes:

  • You will have a genuine passion for teaching
  • Experience up to key stage 3/4
  • QTS/PGCE equivalent
  • Be flexible and committed
