We are keen to speak with KYC Associates to join an international Banking client of ours. This role focuses on Integrity Due Diligence, supporting the front-line Banking teams by conducting due diligence on new and existing clients. This is a 12-month role based in central London with the expectation this will covert to a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct integrity checks on potential clients, focusing on risks such as AML, sanctions, and tax-related issues.
- Complete and manage the Integrity Questionnaire (IQ) with Banking teams.
- Monitor ongoing projects and escalate any issues to senior team members.
- Work with other departments to gather and validate integrity data.
- Update stakeholders on project status and integrity risks.
- Draft internal and external communications as needed.
- Ensure high-quality standards and adherence to company policies.
- Monitor cases and escalate issues where necessary.
- Contribute to process improvements and assist in updating IDD procedures.
- Help deliver training and educational materials on integrity practices.
- Suggest enhancements to the IQ platform and other integrity procedures.
- Drive efficiency in risk assessment processes and promote best practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in banking, finance, legal, or compliance (focus on KYC/AML).
- Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or Law (postgraduate level preferred).
- Strong understanding of KYC/AML and anti-corruption regulations.
- Experience with integrity risk assessment, corporate data analysis, and governance.
- Skilled in written and verbal communication, with an ability to present complex issues clearly.
