Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will support the finance team of 5 with a range of duties which includes purchase ledger, sales ledger and finance administration support. Based in Leeds, you will join a well-established retail company, that has experienced great growth in the past few years.

Description

  • Carry out financial transactions and post them in appropriate accounts.
  • Deal with large amounts of invoices.
  • Deal with supplier statements.
  • Identify discrepancies in financial reports and rectify them promptly.
  • Assist with credit control and chasing clients.
  • Ensure all financial records are maintained accurately and securely.
  • Manage a large amount of inboxes.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals.
  • Comply with all company policies and regulations.
  • Assist with other accounting projects as needed.
  • Contribute positively to the overall retail environment.

Profile

  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • A wealth of experience in transactional finance.
  • The ability to hit the ground running.
  • Ideally some retail experience but not essential.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and databases.
  • The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Solid problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Offer
