Job Description:
Modular Lab Designs Ltd. is seeking a motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer with experience in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks to join their innovative team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the development of state-of-the-art research facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical System Design:
Assist in the development of mechanical system designs for modular laboratory spaces, including HVAC, plumbing, and structural components, using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Integration and Collaboration:
Work closely with senior engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and efficient design integration.
- Technical Assessments:
Support feasibility studies and technical evaluations to inform project planning and decision-making processes.
- Installation and Commissioning:
Participate in the installation, testing, and commissioning phases of mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and industry standards.
- Technical Support:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting throughout the construction and operational phases of projects.
- Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance design methodologies and project outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Technical Proficiency:
Basic proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- System Knowledge:
Understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and structural systems.
- Analytical Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Team Collaboration:
The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Regulatory Knowledge:
