Our client is a leading Electrical, Fire & Security Contractors, who are looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join their team. They are based in Leicester and are looking for a local engineer to live within a commutable distance of the main offices.
**Security Engineer
Position Overview
- Minimum of 4 years site experience installing, maintaining, servicing & commissioning Intruder Alarms, CCTV & Door Access Control.
- Fault finding on the above systems.
- Familiar with Eaton I-on, Galaxy, Scantronic, Dahau, ACT, Paxton, Bell Systems & Videx.
- Working on Commercial & Domestic installations.
- Initial verification, Testing and certification of own work
- Customer and other trade interaction relating to jobs.
- Loan & team working. (Mainly Loan Working)
- Fire & Emergency Lighting installation & maintenance (Preferred)
**Security Engineer
Position Requirements
- In House / Product training for Intruder Alarms, CCTV & Door Access Control
- NVQ level 3 electrical installations (Preferred) Technical Qualification minimum.
- ECS Gold card (Beneficial)
- 18th edition (Preferred)
- 2391 testing and inspecting (Beneficial)
- IPAF 3a & 3b (Preferred)
- Asbestos awareness (Preferred)
**Security Engineer
Position Remuneration
- Rate: £16.94 - £18.51 P/Hr
- O/T 1½x for >40hrs in the week and 1st 5hrs on Saturday,
- 2x for remainder of Saturday, all Sunday & out of hour call outs.
- Auto enrolment pension after probation period
- Travel Time: 13p per mile for sites over 15 miles from the office.
- Working Times: Mon - Fri 8:00am - 4:30pm (40 Hours)
- Callout Rota: 1 week in 7 (£74.90 per week on call)
- Holiday Days: 20 Days + 8 Bank holidays
- Up to additional 5 days as per loyalty scheme
- Sign written van with fuel card (not for private use)
