My client is seeking a dedicated Conveyancing Paralegal to support an experienced Solicitor in managing a diverse residential property caseload. This role involves handling all aspects of conveyancing transactions using the industry's leading Case Management system.

This position is ideal for someone with a background in assisting with a mixed caseload of sale and purchase transactions, including freehold, leasehold, shared ownership, and new build properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Solicitor in ensuring timely progress of all files.
  • Maintain all allocated files in good order, complying with Service Level Agreements, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
  • Handle case enquiries via telephone and email, providing first-class customer service.
  • Enhance the client experience through effective use of conveyancing systems and technology.
  • Communicate with Clients, Lenders, Mortgage Brokers, and other Solicitors.
  • Maintain detailed telephone notes throughout transactions, addressing emails and calls promptly.
  • Obtain redemption statements and conduct pre-completion searches.
  • Submit routine property searches.
  • Assist with completions and the administrative tasks between Exchange and Completion.
  • Prepare and manage Requisitions on Title.
  • Draft completion statements, invoices, and exchange/completion letters.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required by the Case Manager/Senior Case Manager.
  • Work from a task list, following prompts and taking necessary actions.
  • Accurately enter data into the case management system.

The Person:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal or in a similar role.
  • Experience in transactional work, with exposure to leasehold and new build files.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency with Case Management Systems, preferably Visual Files.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
