Your key responsibilities will be:
- Reconciliation of client accounts
- Reconciliation of bank activity
- Daily settlement with the schemes and reconciliation of statement
- Investigation and resolution of discrepancies identified in the reconciliations
- Provide cover of other team members as required
- Escalation of issues to management
- Be involved with improvement initiatives with the department and the company
Profile
You will need:
- 1-2 years+ experience in a similar role
- Proficient in Excel (vlookup, pivot table)
- An ability to maintain accuracy while meeting reporting deadlines
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical and IT systems capabilities
- Be efficient and highly organised
- Quick learner with the ability to become effective in a short time frame
- European languages an advantage
