Are you an experienced mechanical design manager with a strong background in engineering in construction and building services? Join an established and growing main contractor and work closely with the pre construction and site teams supporting the delivery of their projects. Work in an environment of autonomy and support and receive constant recognition and appreciation.
Established 8 years ago this main contractor has grown from strength to strength and are now looking for an experienced mechanical design manager to join them. Support with design changes, managing subcontractors, working closely with clients and much more. Your role as the Mechanical Design Manager will include:
- Working closely with the pre construction team advising on changes to drawings, liaising with clients and being on site when required to oversee and manage sub contractors.
- Attend meetings with the commercial team, clients and design consultants to ensure smooth running of projects
- Work on projects of varying value up to 20 million or more with a focus of location being regional with the occasional national site.
As the successful Mechanical Design Manager you will need:
- Strong knowledge and experience as a mechanical engineer in building services/construction
- Mechanical Engineering qualifications
- Driving licence
