SEN Teacher

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support and interventions to students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and other complex requirements.
- Adapt teaching strategies and materials to accommodate individual learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate closely with other educators, support staff, and parents/guardians to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress, assess needs, and adjust interventions as necessary to ensure academic and personal growth.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience working with students with SEN in educational settings, preferably across Primary, Secondary, and College levels.
- Understanding of various SEN conditions, including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, and ability to implement appropriate strategies to support these needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
- Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
