We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our clients dynamic UK Digital Trading team. This role is pivotal in leading their broker digital trading strategy, defining product, technology, distribution, and service requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery and ownership of products on various digital trading platforms, collaborating with strategic brokers and scheme opportunities. This would suit a traditional Business Analyst with experience of running Waterfall projects using Jira and Excel.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Support the full project lifecycle from initial scoping through to delivery and benefits realisation for product deliveries.
  • Provide technical knowledge across various insurance platforms/propositions, such as Acturis, IS2, SchemeServe.
  • Become a subject matter expert on a chosen digital trading platform, evaluating business operations and processes to identify where technical solutions would improve business performance.
  • Produce specifications and business requirements.
  • Build strong, productive relationships with the business, IT, and third-party stakeholders.
  • Implement continual improvements to ensure efficient and effective change.
  • Support the delivery of digital trading projects in line with the company's Change Delivery Framework and Digital Trading Governance Framework to realise business benefits and achieve service and process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in eliciting, documenting, and delivering high-quality business analysis deliverables.
  • Ability to combine "soft" influencing, persuasion and consultancy skills with leadership qualities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of working with people at all levels within and external to the business.
  • Highly results-driven, with the energy and determination to succeed in a fast-paced environment where the speed of response is critical to success.
