Learner Engagement Officer

Job Purpose

Build and maintain relationships with referral partners like Job Centres, Community Centres, and other training providers to recruit individuals for funded training programs through effective screening and IAG.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement learner engagement strategies to meet monthly targets and KPIs.
  • Respond to inquiries from potential referral partners/stakeholders, providing information and guidance on available courses and services.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with learners and stakeholders.
  • Innovate approaches to engage organizations and ensure consistent learner enrollment.
  • Organize and coordinate events to engage and motivate learners.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of engagement initiatives, providing reports and recommendations.
  • Maintain up-to-date learner records.
  • Support adult education programs by providing information, advice, guidance, and support.
  • Stay updated on relevant policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Decision Making

Contribute to decisions regarding learner eligibility and funding compliance, referring complex queries to management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Essential

  • Knowledge of the Employability sector, particularly Bootcamps and AEB programs.
  • Proven experience in learner engagement and outreach with a track record of meeting KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with referral partners.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of adult education and related services.

Desirable

  • Willingness to work towards an IAG level 2 qualification.
  • Experience with Ofsted inspections and the Matrix standard.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
