Are you involved and passionate about current trends and creating digital marketing campaigns? Our client is looking to hire a Digital Marketing Manager to support the marketing team in effectively promoting its brand across all digital channels. As a Digital Marketing Manager, youll be at the forefront of the companys digital presence, developing, implementing, tracking and optimising the digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels for the brand.

Located in South Wales, this established company is the undisputed leader in a high-growth sector in the sports industry. Our client has two of the industry's two leading brands and they are regularly viewed by millions of fans via Sky Sports. The company is very successful and has a history of over 100 years. With staggering success in their market, our client is poised for greater global expansion.

In this role the Digital Marketing Manager will be : -

  • Devising and executing innovative social media strategies and managing social content production connects with the company's audience and drives engagement and results.
  • Deliver targeted email campaigns to B2B and B2C segments and identify data capture potential.
  • Manage online content that leverages industry trend into effective SEO tactics.
  • Delegate responsibilities to copywriters, content creators, and other members of the marketing team, and stay up to date on the latest social media trends.

Responibilities

Digital Marketing

  • Digital Strategy develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies across various platforms, including paid and organic social media, PPC, and digital content marketing.
  • Project Management keeps your projects and team on track to deliver on time, within budget, and generally hyper organised and responsive to your clients.
  • Reporting Analyse and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Trend Identification Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools and best practices

Email Marketing

  • B2C design and implement a comprehensive email marketing strategy for our B2C audience that aligns with our brand and business objectives.
  • B2B Work closely with our wider marketing/e-commerce team to grow B2B sales.
  • Data Capture Deliver effective data capture and customer feedback campaigns through our email channels.

Social Media

  • Social strategy creating and communicating social-first strategies across a range of social platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest etc, including setting the targets for campaign success.
  • Social Media management managing day-to-day social media activities, including content creation, scheduling, community engagement and performance tracking.
  • Content creation managing the ideation and production of high-quality social content across both our internal team and a network of creators.
  • Copywriting serve as the voice of 2 brands, from creating catchy captions to responding thoughtfully to community interactions.
  • Events react to lives sports events, which may require occasional travel.

Digital Community

  • Influencer management curate and collaborate with influencers who align with our clients sectors
  • Community management keep your finger on the pulse of social trends to engage and authentically with their audiences.

Web

  • Landing pages work alongside the e-commerce manager to optimise landing pages for wider campaigns.
  • SEO Assist with SEO improvements on a technical basis to support the marketing functions.
  • Blog Deliver engaging blog content that leverages SEO, and connects industry trends and brand audience to the website.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media marketing with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create engaging content and drive results.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, SEO, algorithms, and analytical tools, with the ability to leverage data insights to inform strategy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with other departments.
  • Exceptional creative skills and a knack for storytelling, with a keen eye for design, photography and videography.
  • A proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for staying ahead of the curve and exploring new trends and technologies.
  • Educated to degree level or with proven commercial experience

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with paid social media marketing, digital content creation and PPC.
  • Experience with Abode Creative suite for image and video editing.
  • Previous experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads and Tag Manager.
