We are looking for a passionate and committed Secondary Learning Support Assistant to join our team and support students in KS3/4. This role is essential in helping students achieve their full potential through tailored interventions and support for SEN (Special Educational Needs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted learning support to students in KS3/4, ensuring they can access the curriculum and succeed academically.
- Implement and monitor effective interventions to support students with SEN.
- Assist in managing classroom behaviour to create a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
- Work closely with teachers to develop and deliver personalized learning plans.
- Support the emotional and social development of students, helping them build confidence and resilience.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a secondary school setting, particularly with SEN students.
- Strong understanding of various interventions and their impact on student learning and behaviour.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students' needs.
