The Role
As our Truck Driver, you will be driving commercial vehicles, delivering and collecting goods. You could spend a lot of time away from home, including overnight stays where necessary. Most of your time would be spent on the road and you would drive day and night, in all weather conditions.
Your responsibilities as our Truck Driver will include:
- Driving commercial vehicles, delivering and collecting goods.
- Planning delivery routes.
- On occasions, helping to load and unload goods.
- Making sure loads are safely secured.
- Following traffic reports and changing your route if necessary.
- Completing delivery paperwork.
- Completing daily vehicle checks (oil, tyre and brake)
To become our Truck Driver, you'll need:
- Class 1 license
- ADR , desirable but not essential
- CPC
