Assistant Accountant

Our client has experienced incredible growth over the last 12 months, and they are now looking for a talented Assistant Accountant to join their friendly team.
Working for the UK's largest independent supplier of refuse vehicles, you will be assisting the generation of monthly accounts and management of the Finance Department.
Required skills and experience:
- Accounting qualification, such as AAT, CIMA or ACCA
- Previous experience in a similar Assistant Accountant role
- Strong understanding of financial regulations
- Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office and Sage
Daily duties will include:
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assisting with the management of stocking facilities
- Managing cashflow and invoice factoring facilities
- Helping with the creation of the payroll report
- Preparing month end journals
- Reconciliation, including posting and balancing
- Assisting with the preparation of the audit of the year-end account
