The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing complex client accounts, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of apportioned bills and adeptness in reconciling discrepancies. Collaboration with the Billing and Cashiers teams will be a regular feature of your role, reinforcing the unity of the financial unit.
Your responsibilities will extend to mastering billing requirements, optimising debt reduction strategies, and serving as the go-to for credit control queries. Proactivity in resolving billing issues, coupled with the ability to negotiate and maintain strong relationships, will be key to your success.
Candidates must exhibit exceptional problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to accuracy and detail, particularly in reconciliations. Strong organisational and negotiation abilities, coupled with proficiency in Excel, are essential. Familiarity with the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM) principles is highly regarded.
While not mandatory, experience engaging with senior-level stakeholders, knowledge of the 3E accounting system, and the ARCS system will be advantageous. Flexibility in work practices and the willingness to occasionally work overtime to meet critical deadlines will be well received.
