Talent Development Manager

I am delighted to be partnering with a market leading business based near Bath to support them in their recruitment of a Talent Development Manager.

This is a newly created role which has an exciting part to play in delivering an ambitious development agenda. Working closely with HR and the wider business you will ensure the talent programmes and initiatives attract, build and develop early talent and future leaders.

Hybrid working of 3 days per week on site is offered along with a salary of £60,000 - £70,000 + benefits.

As the Talent Development Manager you will report into the Head of Culture & Inclusion and will be responsible for leading various activities under the Talent programme of work. As this is a new role you will work closely with the business looking at learning infrastructure, performance management, talent management and development for high performers, paying particular attention to how you can mobilize talent and ensure engagement. You will lead the development of the new talent agenda and strategy and own the process and approach for talent assessments aligning this with talent acquisition and succession planning.

A significant part of this role will be to oversee Early Careers and manage the graduate programme ensuring each rotation is providing stretch, learning and aligns to business requirements. This will include direct line management of graduates and intern cohorts throughout their programme.

To be successful in this role you will be working in a similar position leading talent initiatives with exposure to Learning and Development, Talent, Performance , Early Careers and management of rotational programmes. You will have a proven successful track record of delivery, design and development programmes as well as excellent project management skills focusing on execution and customer service.

You will have the ability to translate business needs into tangible learning solutions along with an understanding and application of development models, tools and learning interventions.
Ideally you will have worked within international and global matrix environments where you have worked with centres of excellence and senior stakeholders.
