A Steel Operative is required for a multi-national steel processing company based in Smethwick. Operating overhead cranes to move steel around the workplace, working on the weighbridge, loading/unloading vehicles for dispatch and more.
Duties of the role include;
- Operating overhead cranes to handle steel
- Driving counterbalance forklift trucks
- Operating the weighbridge
- Loading and unloading vehicles for delivery
- Any other duties as and when required
You will be working on a rotating shift pattern of;
- 6am - 4pm Monday - Thursday / 1pm finish Fridays
- 6pm - 6am Monday - Thursday
This role will be;
- Working on a temp-to-perm basis with long term opportunities
- Weekly pay whilst on the agency
- Paying £13.42 on the day shift & £15.25 on the night shift
