Salary Range: £43,000 - £51,000 depending on experience
Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract - Hybrid Role worked over 4.5 day working week (1.00pm Friday finish)

About the role of Senior Architect at Design International

We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and talented Senior Architect to provide support to the Project Leader and Design Manager, contributing to and assisting in the development of all designs stages as part of the design team, and delivering projects on time and on budget. You will have proven experience working to high standards and contribute highs levels of performance in the coordination of project teams

This is a pivotal role and will suit someone with excellent communication and presentation skills, proven relationship building skills, and a strong team player that works with enthusiasm with multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate shall have proven experience working with UK heritage/listed buildings and have a strong working knowledge and understanding of UK building regulations and codes.

This role requires:

  • The ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment to high levels of performance.
  • Fluency in Revit with at least 3 years live experience on the software
  • Proficiency in the use of other design applications (such as AutoCad, Presentation and 3D software's) and Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project (as plus)
  • Strong mixed-use, retail, commercial and residential background
  • Excellent understanding of the complete architectural process & the inputs required of all RIBA stages (specifically 0-5)
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and building codes; being able to navigate rules and building permits; being able to work within municipalities and handle building permits.
  • UK experience in projects involving listed buildings and those of significant historical value
  • A minimum of 5 years holding similar roles within an architectural or multi-disciplinary practice
  • Proven experience dealing with clients and consultants/contractors at some point in your career
  • RIBA or ARB qualified or equivalent with up to five years professional experience
  • Eligibility to work in UK
