Laboratory Technician

As the Laboratory Technician you will be degree educated in Chemistry or a related field. You will also have experience working within a polymers or coatings manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, prepare, and test samples to ensure quality.
- Conduct and support scientific investigations and experiments.
- Demonstrate procedures and guide others in the lab.
- Maintain, calibrate, clean, and test the sterility of lab equipment.
- Perform risk assessments and maintain stock and resources.
- Plan, set up, and carry out controlled experiments and trials.
- Provide technical support and present results to senior staff.
- Record, analyse, and interpret data with accuracy.
- Write comprehensive reports, reviews, and summaries.
What They're Looking For:
- Degree educated in Chemistry or a related field, preferably with a focus on Polymer Science.
- Ability to learn and operate sophisticated lab equipment.
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- A team player with effective time management skills.
- Previous laboratory experience in a polymers manufacturer.
