Legal Operations Team Leader

My client is a progressive client are a global law firm looking to recruit a Legal Operations Team Leader. This key role will entail managing a team dedicated to meeting clients' legal needs and fully contribute to the growth the teams legal services. The role will entail leading a team that delivers work that was previously done in-house, working closely day-to-day with clients' and fostering strong working relationships.

The successful candidate will lead a team of Administrators who triage and process client instructions and queries through bespoke end-to-end matter management systems. Working with clients and our wider team, you will help drive the future of our operational service by assessing requests and adapting our delivery model to ensure efficiency and accommodation of our clients evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct line management to a team of Administrators, supervising day-to-day tasks and work allocation
  • Proactively managing workloads, performance and individual development plans
  • Providing feedback and coaching during regular check ins to develop and motivate your team
  • Working closely with our operations management to consider resourcing needs of the whole team and ensure a consistent approach to performance and management
  • Ensuring work is delivered in line with SLAs to a high standard through quality assurance checks
  • Curating and circulating regular and bespoke reporting
  • Working with key stakeholders and our clients to ensure our delivery model aligns with their evolving businesses
  • Working closely with the IT team to ensure that technical solutions align with operational process needs to ultimately deliver an efficient and cost effective solution to our clients

Requirements:

Applicants will have experience of leading a team in a fast paced or high-volume environment. You will have experience of working directly with clients managing instructions in accordance with SLAs seamlessly. Exposure to legal or similar would be desirable.
