Accounts Assistant Role Overview
As the Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for both the purchase and sales ledger transactions. You will be working closely with and reporting into the Finance Manager.
Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:
- Processing purchase ledger transactions
- Processing sales ledger transactions
- Bank reconciliations
- Chasing outstanding payments
- To process weekly payroll through Sage software
- Dealing with queries from both customers and suppliers
Accounts Assistant Experience Required
- Proven experience in a varied accounts role
- Experience using Sage accounts – Essential
- Knowledge of excel to produce spreadsheets for the MD
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
