Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a well-respected primary school in Sheffield, to find a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and forward-thinking educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources.
  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils, including those with special educational needs.
  • Helping to manage pupil behaviour in line with the school's policies.
  • Contributing to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Supporting the assessment and monitoring of pupil progress.
  • Participating in school events, trips, and extra-curricular activities.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a primary school setting.
  • A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
