A leading workwear and PPE solutions provider requires a Product Development Manager. The Product Development Manager will have end-to-end involvement in the product development process, and will drive the development of own brand ranges.
The Product Development Manager will be responsible for managing the complete process of own brand product development from initial stages to the placement of the first order. The Product Development Manager will collaborate closely with stakeholders working within compliance and quality assurance.
Specific duties of the Product Development Manager include:
- Ownership of new product development process, cradle-to-grave
- Conduct market research and analyse industry trends within the workwear/PPE market place
- Continuously review and seek to improve own brand range
- Develop exit strategies for less successful products
- Seek to expand Eco product range
- Drive a sustainable approach to product development processes
Product Development Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Experience in product development
- Experience with growing own brand ranges and product portfolios
- Positive, pro-active self-starter and relationship builder
- Comfortable attending trade and show exhibitions
- Customer-centric in approach
- Knowledge of sustainability issues and eco friendly manufacturing techniques
