Full-time, office-based in Salford Quays, Greater Manchester. Working Monday to Friday 9AM to 5PM.

Basic salary £22,000 - £26,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience.

A leader in the R&D Tax Relief sector, they have expanded their offering to include other Tax Incentives and Business Finance. Their ultimate goal is to provide an all-encompassing finance function for their clients.

They are currently in a period of remarkable growth, successfully securing their clients over £40 million in funding since inception in 2021.

The Role

As our client's business continues to grow and evolve, so do the needs of their stakeholders. They are dedicated to delivering excellence in every aspect of their operations, and their administrative team play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture positive relationships with clients.
  • Manage inbound queries in a timely manner, maintaining detailed records of client interactions.
  • Coordinate with clients to schedule technical calls and technical site visits, utilising scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, Zoom) to book and manage appointments.
  • Communicate with clients and their accountants to request necessary documentation and information, following up on incomplete or inaccurate information.
  • Maintain organised and secure systems for recording and storing data.
  • Ensure that administrative processes safeguard sensitive information and comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, such as data protection regulations.
  • Utilise Counting King's internal CRM system to effectively manage and prioritise tasks.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of products and services.
  • Work cohesively with other departments to ensure clients receive the best possible service.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance departmental efficiency.

Skills and Experience Required:

Essential:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with good telephone manner
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Capacity to understand financial analysis and calculations

Desirable:

  • Relevant experience in financial services
