A well respected Worthing based employer is looking to add to their busy finance department by recruiting a full time Assistant Financial Accountant.
Description
As Assistant Financial Accountant you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing general ledger accounts and posting the necessary journals to ensure an accurate trial balance.
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Compiling and submitting statutory and regulatory returns.
- Supporting the Reporting team with year-end audit and statutory accounts preparation.
- Liaising with third parties and banks, suppliers and accountants.
- Assisting in reviewing finance processes and systems, making suggestions for improvements and supporting implementation.
Profile
- Degree educated (finance, accounting, economics, maths or business)
- Strong excel (Pivot Tables and V Look Ups)
- ACA/AAT/ACCA/CIMA studier (early to mid stages)
