For the successful IT Support Assistant, our client is offering;
- £25,000 - £28,000 per Year DOE
- Monday to Friday 39 hours per week. (Part Time hours considered)
- Permanent role
- Company Pension
- 28 days Holiday including Bank Holidays

The role of the IT Support Assistant;
- Provide 1st level support for operational issues, and address the needs of the users
- Install software as needed, ensuring systems are correctly licensed
- Ensure systems are appropriately protected (anti-virus, firewalls, patching, etc.)
- Support both physical and virtualised servers
- Administer the LAN/WAN environment as directed
- Configure and install printers
- Provide support for PCs, laptops, company phones, mobiles and other associated hardware
- Document processes, policies, standards and site designs as directed
- Liaise with 3rd party support providers
What our client is looking for in an IT Support Assistant;
- Previous experience working in an IT-related role, desktop support, hardware installation, etc
- Knowledge of computer networking (LAN/WAN)
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
- Office 365 / Intune / AD Administration
- Excellent organisational, timekeeping, and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience with various switches & wireless technology - PREFERRED
- Some knowledge of SAP B1 or similar - PREFERRED
