Launch Co-ordinator

As a Launch Coordinator, you are a strong communicator, self-starting and confident in your own ability. You would enjoy working with the material, planning, and logistics aspects of new model programmes. You will also be responsible for running regular 'Open to Go' meetings to identify issues and remove roadblocks. Your role involves coordinating the material, planning, and logistics aspects of new model programmes for a specific range of part numbers and engineering changes. Trust in your ability to efficiently manage these tasks without causing disruption to the business is crucial.

In this role, you will need the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy, and work together with others accurately and efficiently. It is important that you take resourceful action during periods of pressure.

This role would really suit someone who is a strong communicator, self-starting, and confident in their own ability. As a Launch Coordinator, you will also be responsible for reporting on metrics to show the progress of launch parts into the business. Effectively coordinating production parts issues between MP&L Material Planners and Purchasing to ensure the supply of correct parts for the correct build phase is vital.

As our next Launch Coordinator, you'll play an instrumental role in tracking build status and ensuring the availability of correct parts for the build programme. Your main focus will be coordinating the material, planning, and logistics aspects of new model programmes for a specific range of part numbers and engineering changes. Trust in your ability to manage these responsibilities efficiently and without causing disruption to the business is fundamental.

The Key Requirements...

  • Experience of managing the material, planning and logistics aspects of new model programmes in the automotive industry.
  • Experience of handling engineering changes and knowledge of Bill of Material structures.
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office) and reporting competence.
  • Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy, with the ability to work together with others accurately and efficiently, taking resourceful action during periods of pressure.
