Fram are working with a directly authorised financial planning firm in Bristol. Due to growth and internal movement, they are seeking a client service administrator to join their office in Bristol. Our client is looking for someone with admin and platform experience who is happy to work with the Paraplanning team to support an advisor on a 121 basis. The role is office based and the salary range is dependent on experience and qualification level. For the right candidate, our client will support RO qualifications to become DipFa qualified, and the role will develop into a trainee paraplanning role after a solid period of service. However, if someone wishes to stay as a career administrator that is also suitable.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Carry out all administration duties to fully support Financial Planners.
  • Keep up to date with new products, technical or legislative changes within the marketplace.
  • Comply at all times with the firm's Compliance; Training & Competence; Complaints and Data Security policies / procedures.
  • To work as part of a team alongside the firm's advisers and paraplanners to provide clients with a professional ongoing Financial Planning experience.
  • Prepare and maintain client files.
  • Ensure client correspondence is written in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Check of file to maintain good order, scan, and file, as required.
  • To maintain comprehensive files and filing systems in accordance with GDPR specifications.
  • To ensure that tasks and workflow are kept up to date in accordance with Company procedures.
  • Processing letters of authority.
  • Request quotations on-line through various provider systems, as well as telephone and email.
  • Liaison with providers, third parties and clients (via email, letter, or telephone).
  • Process switches, transfers, withdrawals, and retirement benefits (including income drawdown) using all provider platforms.
  • Process business from proposal to policy document stage.
  • Request investment valuations.
  • Write post review letters.

An ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within an advice environment. Be highly organised & methodical, with excellent attention to detail. Have excellent communication, numerical and IT skills. A good level of competence with Office 365 to include Word, Excel, and Outlook together with a good use of various online platform including Standard Life Wrap, Quilter, A J Bell and back-office system Intelliflo.
