A very exciting opportunity has arisen within an upmarket and award-winning firm of estate agents and chartered surveyors at their thriving office in Winchester. They have gained an enviable reputation from their exceptional delivery of service to clients, which has been recognised and awarded.

As the Head of Lettings, you will oversee and maintain the efficient running of the lettings and management team and the continued development of the company within the community. Additionally, you will lead on the generation of new business for the office and will oversee the management of the client database.

Our client is looking for someone with natural leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team, as you will be responsible for the growth and development of the lettings department within the Winchester office.

Personal specification:

  • A proven track record in residential lettings
  • An excellent team builder who is skilled at maximising cross-selling opportunities
  • The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Excellent negotiating and presentational skills
  • Sound team orientated interpersonal skills and experience of communicating effectively with both colleagues and clients
  • Knowledge of relevant compliance legislation
  • Skilled in reporting on development performance
  • IT literacy including experience in the use of residential software packages
  • Enthusiasm and drive with a desire to broaden knowledge and experience
  • Strong self-management
  • It is preferrable that you live locally and are involved in your community.

The salary on offer will include a basic of up to £45,000, plus on target earnings in the region of £55,000 to £60,000.
