Absolute Recruit is exclusively representing a growing IT Managed Service Provider based in North London. They are currently seeking a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join a structured support team comprising of 1st and 3rd line engineers.

As a 2nd Line Support Engineer, you will be crucial in maintaining the seamless operation of IT systems and delivering outstanding technical support to external clients across various sectors. Your 2nd Line Support Engineer responsibilities will include user support, system administration, troubleshooting, basic networking, and collaboration with other IT professionals, either remotely from our New Barnet office or onsite with clients. Additionally, you will respond to support tickets, document procedures, assist with new equipment setups, and liaise with external vendors when needed.

This is a great opportunity for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to be involved in client site visits which will included taking part in various projects and installations. With this in mind, the right 2nd Line Support Engineer will need to hold a

valid UK drivers license

You'll have technical experience in the following core areas:

  • Windows OS's and Windows Server Administration – Have the ability to spin up new servers.
  • Office 365 Administration – This must include Security & Compliance, User Groups, Licensing and Domain Management
  • Azure AD (Entra ID) and general Active Directory Administration
  • Intune, SharePoint & Teams
  • Hyper-V exposure would be highly desirable
