We're on the hunt for a Packaging Designer/Creative Artworker for our client based in Uxbridge. This is a brand new role within their team that is experiencing a period of exciting growth!
This creative function is key in supporting growth within the business by developing product design, packaging and branding concepts to enhance their ever growing product range aimed at children. This creative team supports the New Product Development team and the wider sales team in bringing new product ideas to life.
Some duties include:
- Creation & development of packaging through use of all available resources and materials.
- Creation of new and development of current designs to include art working across multiple formats.
- Strong understanding of the environmental impact of the industry and the opportunities within design and material choices to improve this.
- Working with initial briefs through the full design process from concept to delivery.
- 3D Design and prototyping management with suppliers.
- Creation of mock-ups to present ideas for approval.
- Edit product photos for presentations.
- Create eye-catching displays for presentations.
What we are looking for:
- Your expertise will cover a variety of design disciplines including, branding, structural card packaging, 3D design, layout and desktop publishing.
- You will already have significant packaging and brand design experience.
- You will have a portfolio that showcases your work.
- You will also be fully conversant in Adobe Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop and the usual Microsoft packages as a minimum.
