Hygiene Operative
Location - Margate
Salary - £11.44 per hour
Temporary to Permanent
Our client an established food manufacturer in Kent is looking to recruit a Hygiene Operative on a temporary to permanent basis. The role will be full-time role working Monday - Wednesday 3 pm - 1 am and Thursday 2:30 pm - 12:00 midnight.
Responsibilities for the role of Hygiene Operative:
- Carrying out scheduled daily cleaning tasks
- Cleaning of processing equipment and production lines to meet required standards, measured through testing of samples
- Deep cleaning of production areas
- Post-cleaning checks to make sure everything has been completed properly
- Ensuring that all paperwork is correctly completed
- Make sure that everything you do complies with company procedures for Health & Safety and Hygiene
- Ensuring that you're cleaning, and personal protective equipment are functioning correctly at all times
- The ability to work effectively under pressure of time
- Reporting any incidents or environmental concerns to your line manager.
Person specification for the role of Hygiene Operative:
- Be comfortable working in a physically demanding role
- Will have previous experience in a cleaning role, ideally at an industrial level
- Ideally will have a food manufacturing background
- Must have an eye for detail and quality
- Will require the ability to complete cleaning reporting documents
