Legal Secretary - Litigation

You will be responsible for managing diaries, setting up and attending team meetings, arranging travel and co-ordinating complex bills on a monthly basis and chasing up unpaid bills as required. See below a list of your responsibilities:

Manage diaries, keeping them up to date and reminding fee earners of meetings

Support fee earners in marketing activities, including involvement in preparation

Arranging for files to be opened and closed, supervise general filing requirements and record keeping

Ensure all client related correspondence is passed on to an appropriate fee earner

Deal with basic client queries and general administration

Type urgent/short/confidential correspondence and emails

Assist fee earners in the billing and credit control process

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have:

Previous experience in the Litigation field

Accurate typing of at least 60 wpm

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Excellent telephone manner

Excellent communication, organisational and team skills

Excellent attention to detail
