As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll be the face of CTD, using your excellent people skills and product knowledge to sell and promote our wide range of tiles and associated products. Whether it's helping a trade customer over the phone or providing personalized advice to a member of the public, you'll be there every step of the way to ensure our customers find exactly what they're looking for.

What We're looking for:

  • A true customer service champion who goes above and beyond
  • A natural salesperson who knows how to build relationships and add value
  • A communicator who knows how to build rapport and find solutions
  • A product enthusiast who can share their passion with customers
  • A tech-savvy individual who can navigate computer systems and stock control
  • A qualified and experienced individual with A-Levels or equivalent (preferred)
  • Someone with knowledge of general warehouse duties and showroom sales (preferred, but not essential)

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing outstanding customer service, both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Using your product and sector knowledge to enhance customer relationships and increase sales
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy showroom and ensuring accurate point of sale displays
  • Completing customer orders and offering specific advice on products
  • Keeping up-to-date with interior design trends and the role of tiles in renovation schemes
  • Handling cash transactions and ensuring accurate stock management
  • Building strong relationships with both customers and suppliers
  • Participating in training and staying up-to-date with industry regulations and developments
  • Demonstrating flexibility and teamwork to improve business efficiency
