Description

  • Full responsibility of compliance and safeguarding
  • First point of contact for recruitment and selection process
  • Handling employee relations matters
  • Supporting in performance management procedures
  • Liaise with the school's legal advisors
  • Coordinating training and development initiatives
  • Managing HR records and reporting
  • Contributing to the overall HR team objectives

Profile

A successful HR Officer should have:

  • HR experience in education
  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field (CIPD level 3 minimum)
  • Experience of Ofsted and/ or ISI inspections
  • Proven experience in a similar HR role, preferably in the education sector
  • Experience with full employee lifecycle
  • Excellent understanding of HR best practices and compliance
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Proficiency in HR systems and databases
  • Knowledge of employment legislation
  • A proactive attitude and likes to stay busy
  • Must have full driving license and car
