Reed Talent Solutions is partnering with Cadent Gas to recruit Dispatchers for their fast-paced Dispatch Centre. As a Dispatcher, you'll play a vital role in managing job allocations, ensuring resource efficiency, and delivering excellent service to engineers and the public.
Role Overview
- Allocate jobs to field resources (manually or system-driven).
- Manage jeopardies effectively.
- Develop technical competence to support engineers and the public.
Role Details
- Job Title: Dispatcher
- Location: Ansty Park, Coventry (full-time onsite)
- Contract: 6-month temporary worker via Reed (potential for permanent role)
- Hourly Pay Rate: £15.04
- Training Hours: 7am to 3pm or 8am to 4pm (classroom training)
- Start Date: Monday, 1st July, 2024
- Recruitment Process: Telephone interview with Reed followed by an onsite assessment center with Cadent Gas

A Day in the Life
- Communicate with engineers and customers to ensure timely job attendance.
- Align jobs with engineers' schedules.
- Be the first point of contact for Network Supervisors, escalating issues as needed.
