Shift Manager
Salary: £14 - £15.50p/h dependant on shift.
Hours: Hours are quite flexible but the successful candidate would be required to work Monday-Friday anywhere between the hours of 6am and 10.30pm. This is 3x shift patterns, 6am - 2.30pm, 2pm - 10.30pm or 9am - 6.30pm - flexibility is required due to these changing as and when needed.
Location: Elland, HX5

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Shift Manager who is keen to join a vibrant and positive team as well as, being keen to take part in their continued success and growth.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of the shift including shift briefing and site inspection.
- Organising production throughput, allocation of job roles and traffic management.
- Measure productivity and ensure KPIs are met.
- Ensure high standards of production discipline are maintained.
- Assist with general maintenance requirements.
- Performance manage staff and provide training, coaching and support to the team.
- Maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements
- You must be a strong leader with good interpersonal and people management skills.
- Experience in managing a team and ideally within the waste recycling industry.
- Good problem-solving abilities and an adaptable person who is willing to work in a hands-on role.
- WAMITAB - Level 4 (Aka CoTC - Certificate of Technical Competence) in hazardous waste treatment/transfer is an advantage but not essential.
