About the role:
- Assist the Indirect Tax Partners and Directors as a key member of the VAT team
- Support a diverse client portfolio across various sectors from large multinationals to OMBs and everything in between
- Contribute to the growth of the indirect tax practice
- Provide guidance on UK and international VAT matters
- Engage in a mix of advisory and compliance tasks and take ownership of clients you work with
What You'll Do:
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Participate in business development initiatives
- Mentor and guide junior team members
- Contribute to special projects such as tender proposals and due diligence.
- Take part in VAT planning and marketing activities.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in VAT practice
- Strong understanding of VAT principles
- Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and effectively
- Excellent technical skills and current VAT knowledge
- CTA qualification is desirable but not essential and study support will be offered
