Job Title: 2nd Line IT Support Engineer
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Salary: £25,000 - £32,000

We are currently looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a well established, innovative, cloud-first Managed Service Provider in Sheffield. The successful candidate will provide technical support to customers and end-users, troubleshoot problems, and maintain a high level of service delivery. In addition to this, you will get involved in exciting project work.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers and end-users, mainly via remote support
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- Provide training and technical advice to customers and end-users
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Monitor system performance and ensure system security
- Participate in the implementation of new systems and technologies
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Technical Knowledge of Windows Server, Networking, and Virtualization Technologies such as Hyper-V or VMWare
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and other cloud technologies
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
