Job Title: People Operations Business Partner

Salary: £50,000 per annum

Location: Milton Keynes

Shift/Hybrid: Hybrid working

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing generalist People & Culture guidance and support to dedicated client groups, contributing to the delivery of the Company's business and people strategies. In this role you will:

  • Act as a key partner to the leadership and management teams, and the wider People & Culture community, with a view to guide and coach our managers on people related topics and processes, ensuring a consistent and fair approach across the organisation
  • Champion a culture of high performance by assisting with the design and development of commercially focussed people solutions
  • Provide advice, guidance, and support on change programs such as restructures, changes to terms and conditions of employment to ensure that changes are effectively introduced, are legally compliant and the need for change is well communicated
  • Ensure the smooth functioning of our people operations, including payroll administration in conjunction with an external provider
  • Monitor relevant KPIs including turnover levels, participation in the employee survey, trends in the employee survey index, feedback from employees including from exit interviews and support the business in developing and implementing action plans which effect improvement
  • Have line manager responsibility for our People and Reward Specialist

About you:

  • Up to date knowledge of employment legislation and best practice
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels in an organisation
  • Experience of partnering and/or supporting managers in an HR role
  • Experience in supporting the delivery of strategic change in an HR role
  • Have a real interest in HR and contributing to the development of the business and the People function
  • Focussed on improving and simplifying processes, making the People team easy to work with
  • Courage and confidence to challenge people managers in a constructive way
  • CIPD level 5 or qualified by experience
