Here at Hays, we are recruiting an Inventory and Supply Analyst to join a large FMCG client based in East Leeds on a 9 month fixed-term basis. This role is for someone who is highly motivated by analysing data and has experience working in a similar environment. This role is paying £35,000 per annum along with some great company benefits.
This role will involve being a key player within the business, managing relationships with the organisation's Third-Party Logistics (3PL) provider to ensure adequate stock cover for the department's products across the whole of the UK.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Managing all aspects of stock management, including administration and analysis.
- Collaborating and liaising with 3PLs on stock management and developing solutions to any problems that arise.
- Working with other departments on cross collaborative projects.
- Provide cover and support for the administrator and support the manager when it is required.
- Involvement in the cost review process.
Experience and qualifications required for the role:
- 2 years of experience working with a 3PL, and within an inventory role.
- Experience working in a FMCG environment would be advantageous.
- Highly proficient with MS Excel (e.g. VLookups, XLookups, and Pivot tables).
- Prior experience to working with SAP would be beneficial.
- You will need to be highly analytical with a strong attention to detail.
- Highly organised with a structured approach to work.
