We are seeking an SIA Tutor to join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering high-quality and innovative teaching and learning sessions within the Security Industry Authority (SIA). This role is ideal for an industry specialist or an experienced tutor who is passionate about engaging adult learners and facilitating their progression into further training or employment.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Design and deliver a variety of core courses to help learners develop Employability and Personal Social Development skills.
  • Conduct training sessions in key areas such as Security, First Aid Training, Health and Safety, Customer Service, and Employability.
  • Plan well-structured sessions that enhance learners' skills, knowledge, and behaviours.
  • Integrate Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding, Prevent, and British Values throughout the learner journey.
  • Provide developmental feedback and maintain accurate records of learner progress.
  • Collect and review learner feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Participate actively in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and attend required meetings.
  • Complete all administrative tasks accurately and promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient in ICT skills.
  • Experience in educational settings with unemployed adults.
  • Familiarity with roll-on-roll-off delivery.
  • Level 3 Teaching Qualification and Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Substantial industry experience in Security/SIA or demonstrable knowledge.
  • Training in Safeguarding, Prevent Awareness, and Equality & Diversity.
  • Full driving license for national travel.
  • Desirable: Assessor qualification (TAQA, D32/D33 A1 or equivalent).
