Parts Advisor required. Our client is an agricultural equipment supplier with over 40 years of experience in the industry. They are now looking a Parts Advisor around the Salisbury area due to growth within the business.
**Parts Advisor
Position Overview
- Handle incoming customer calls and emails regarding parts inquiries.
- Assist customers by identifying parts, providing prices, and checking availability.
- Prepare parts orders for picking, collection, and delivery.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels according to established processes.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth departmental operations.
- Advise customers on the best value options for service parts.
- Place orders using the manufacturers' systems.
- Maintain close communication with service engineers, internal departments, suppliers, and customers to update them on parts requests.
- Process parts invoices and allocate them to jobs for service counter and trade sales.
- Conduct stock checks and audits, resolving any discrepancies internally or with suppliers.

Position Requirements
- Previous experience in a Parts Advisor role would be advantageous
- To be able to answer incoming calls / emails for enquiries
- IT literate
- Technical ability in product / part knowledge would be a strong advantage
- Keen communication skills
- Experience with objection handling
**Parts Advisor
Position Remuneration
- Salary £20,000 - £28,000 DOE
- Working hours 08:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday
- 21 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays.
