An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement Lead to join our management team to continue the delivery of our well-established procurement function. Reporting to the COO, this role will offer a procurement expert with working experience of public sector procurement, the opportunity to lead on all aspects of procurement including managing and overseeing all the tendering activity, engaging with and supporting our managers with the procurement of products and services aligned to our social value and procurement strategies and leading on the continuous improvement of the procurement function.

Given the imminent launch of the Procurement Act 2023 in October 2024, and the introduction of new public sector procurement regulations, this new role will also offer the opportunity to influence and shape The ACC Liverpool Group's procurement strategy and policies whilst embracing all the benefits the new legislation will bring to support the delivery of an efficient procurement service across our business.

The ideal candidate should be CIPS qualified or working towards the qualification and must have experience of leading tender exercises and advising on procurement matters utilising the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (PCR2015).

This role will be integral to how we deliver events and our services, therefore possessing enthusiasm about procurement and having experience to lead staff, guide and advise on procurement issues are all essential.
