Pertemps are excited to be partnering with one of the Europe's largest forklift companies to recruit for an Electrical Forklift Engineer. This is an excellent oppotunity to join a growing company in their well-equipped workshop in Basingstoke, on a full-time permanent basis.
Forklift Engineer Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance and repair on forklift trucks and material handling equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
- Travel to customer sites for servicing and repairs when required
- Accurately document all work completed
- Support other team members in the workshop and around site when required
Forklift Engineer Requirements:
- Proven electrical and mechanical engineering experience
- Experience working in a similar role
- Excellent electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Engineering qualification: A minimum of NVQ level 2 or equivalent
- Proficiency in using, repairing, and maintaining machines and tools
- Full driving license and your own vehicle
Forklift Engineer Package:
- Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
- Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience
