Location: Split between Leeming Bar and Hull with opportunity for Hybrid working after initial settling in period.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility
Reporting to: Head of Finance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Financial Reporting: Ensure the preparation and accuracy of management accounts, reporting to strict deadlines.
  • Banking & Reconciliation: Oversee all banking entries and reconciliations.
  • Period End Accuracy: Manage period end accruals and prepayments to ensure precision.
  • Invoice Management: Oversee the timely raising and payment of invoices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments to support and analyse spending and budgets.
  • Cash Flow Reporting: Deliver weekly cash flow reports.
  • Fixed Asset Accounting: Manage all aspects of fixed asset accounting.
  • Budget Support: Assist in budget monitoring and preparation.
  • KPI Ownership: Take responsibility for KPI calculations.
  • Audit Support: Assist with annual statutory audits and accounts preparation.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: ACA or ACCA Qualified - we may consider part qualified with a solid experience to accompany it.
  • Skills: Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Attributes: A positive, self-motivated individual with a professional presence and excellent communication skills. You'll be confident, reliable, and capable of managing tasks independently, all while being a team player.
